The ERHS Class of '98 high school reunion has finally been planned. I'm trying to decide if I want to go or not. A lot of my friends that I'd like to see have already said they're not going (they live out of state) and I don't know if it would be worth going for a bunch of people I never spoke to. And with the added price tag of $60 per person, I just don't know. It's going to be held Oct. 25, 2008 from 6:30-11:30 PM at the Santa Maria Country Club. No open bar.

Since I'm in town, I don't really have a good reason not to go. And there are still a couple people that I know will be there... I dunno. I'm more afraid of the whole "if you don't go, you'll regret it" factor. I need to send the money in by Oct 1st so I still have a month to decide.

New Samsung Blackjack II cell phone in red! I'm so in love with it that I should be ashamed. The only phone more sexier than mine is the AT&T Tilt, but alas my pocket book could not afford that much sexiness at this time.

So right now I'm having to re-input all of my contacts because I don't usually save to the sim card. I don't mind doing it, but it takes a long time. Some ask me why I don't save myself the time and just save to the sim? Well, for me it's about organization. Whenever you save to the sim card, it saves each individual entry. So even though I may have 4 numbers that go to John Smith, you see four entries. And for whatever the reason may be, possibly OCD, I don't like that. It really bothers me. I want John Smith's stuff to all be under John Smith. So why spend time reorganizing all of my contacts when I can just input them in fresh? So I do.

And since the Blackjack II is a PDA/Smartphone, I had to add on the Unlimited Data plan so I would be able to use internet and all that fun stuff. I mean why by a PDA/Smartphone if you're not going to use those features right?

My only problem so far is that I've tried to log into AIM mobile, but it keeps on giving me a connection error message and to check the settings. I thought that settings were supposed to already be set up before it leaves the store? So if it's still not working before I go to bed, I'm going to go back to the store to have customer service look at it. Such a disappointment. I mean, when you buy something you want it to work perfect, right?

And this phone has a beautiful 2 MP camera with video/camcorder. It's wonderful because my screen is so big. I LOVE IT. So now I'm going to have to track everyone down in order to get a picture for my caller ID.

If I was smarter I probably should have just saved up the extra money to buy the AT&T Tilt. It was the phone that I ultimately wanted, but you know how impatient girls get - they don't want to wait. And I didn't.

For now, I'm happy with getting the Blackjack II. So once I get my IM program working I'll have internet access at my fingertips at all time. Scary.

My blog is in dire need of revamping. Unfortunately, I am the lameass that does not know how to edit the stylesheet. Such is that I hang my head in shame. So alas, I am reset as "default".

La Fin.

On a different note, I pre-reg'd my boyfriend and myself for Anime Expo 2008 for a 4 day pass with hotel reservations. Totally scored. Saved money on the 4 day passes and since I did everything super early, I got one of the blockout hotels near the convention center. You never know by looking on MapQuest, but I THINK we are within walking distance (about 2 blocks?) from the hotel to the convention center.

This year it's going to be at the LA Convention Center and I heard that it's a much much better venue than Long Beach Convention Center. Last year was a nightmare, but this year they're actually going to have automated kiosks AND man'd stations for check-in. So there shouldn't be anymore horrendous lines. And the gloriousness of pre-reg is that we'll have our own area for check-in, seperate from the general public. Not that they didn't have that last year, but the dumbass volunteers that worked the convention told us the wrong information when I asked where the pre-reg check-in was and put us in the general public line. For anyone who's been to Long Beach Convention Center... imagine a serpentine line of people for miles and miles and miles curled down the block and into the parking lot. Yeah, not fun.

So since passes are paid for, now I just have to save up for the hotel. And it's a pretty nice one - Moroccan themed. We also have annual passes to both Universal Studios and Disneyland so if we ever get tired of the convention or the hotel, it's a 15 minute drive to Universal and a half hour drive to Disneyland.

So excited. ^_^

If I get enough motivation up I may goth loli myself up with kitty ears to freak out my boyfriend - so he won't want to be in my company. ^_^ Though, to a certain extent, I think he enjoyed making fun of all the cosplayers... He made fun of Momoi Halko though, so I thought that was kinda mean. o_O

The browser is definitely cool even though it's a tad slow and typing long messages is inconvenient. But with any wi-fi connection i'll be able to check email and other websites away from home and without a computer. I know most people buy fancy cell phones for this purpose, but I have to admit i think this is cool. ^_^
