Ok so is this going to be yet one more failed attempt to get my blog going at least semi regular clip? Probably so but; the New Year brings forth technology not normally used buy this end user of computers. That is a spell Checker you who have know me and have read any thing I have typed sense about 1987-88 none of it was spelled correctly or even proofed. Most of it being typed while I stared at my fingers not looking at my monitor one bit. With that being said on to the meat of this installment. Joannelle and my self are taking a pettier class at the junior college. It is fun. I pretty much suck. I have however mastered the art of centering the clay on the wheel. That is the most basic skill in pottery. The next thing one need to learn how to do is make a cylinder. That is the form witch most every thing is made from. I can’t do that yet. Joannelle however is working on several cups and a goblet to two. Fortunately for me I have elected to take the class credit no credit. I do not know how that is going to affect my academic probation from 7 years ago but hopefully it will get me off of it quicker. I feel like a criminal trapped in the system. Quarterly progress reports to my councilor. Ok so in enrolling in A.H.C. I had to make what is call P.O.A. or Plan of action. I had to meet with my councilor tell him how I had changed and was now ready to take school seriously. Mind you I was 23 at the time and I am now 30. I explained to him that I had been employed at the same company now for six years. I also played pedal steel guitar for almost 5 years and was married. The real seller I thing is my wife was a good student ad we will be taking the class together. She will be responsible for getting me out of bed and to class on Saturday morning. I however will be making to coffee in the morning and giving the fist cup of Pete’s French roast to her and that is what will actually get us to school in the morning. That my friend is also how marriage works. With that said I was approved to meet with another counselor. When I got my appointment for my new councilor we started working on my P.O.A. (P.O.A. makes me think of P.O.W.) That’s how the whole academic probation makes me feel.) If you know me and you most likely do that why you are reading this. I have my Job I work for my family I like what I do and I am not going any where. Well the system says I have to declare a major. That is liberal arts now. In the past I took some film production classes. This what back when nonlinear digital editing was done in Hollywood not on your pc. Some graphics arts classes on early versions of photo shop. So needles to say anything I learned beside how to frame a shot or different editing styles is obsolete. HE tried really heard to get me to go for a degree even though I have never taken any general ed. He was very persistent. I wonder if these guys work off of commission? We went round and round, to his dismay I didn’t want to become a fulltime student. My wife however turned in my progress sheet three days past its due date. The School didn’t seem to minde one little bit. |

OK so it;s een a while. In early nov. We moved in to our house. SO betwwen that and the holidays I was quite busy for a while. We do not have and IsP or cable tv. I perfer it this way. I have the net and work and hate tv. Just give me some net flix baby! We Got to kitten a couple of weeks ago AN Joannlle IS quite Happy with them. The get a long witht he dog wqell so all is well. My lil sister moved in with us just before she tunred 18. It is neet to have hr arond as I am 29 and moved out from my dads place 9 years ago. IT is cool to spend some timr with her. Joannelle and I have started atending 5 citys vinyard church in ag. We enjoyit very much. I got another bosstone unit on e bay last night. That brings the totaly to 2 units know. I am also GEting a new steel guitar a Fessenden. Exted E9 tunning with 8 kneelevers and 5 foot pedals. So i am goaing to figure a wats to post the pedal set up. |

ok so 2 weeks ago I got a Green machine over drive and it is the best od i have ever heard! now to day I got for my be day yeaster day 10.7 I picked up a jordan bosstone fuzz box. That thing is the bomb also I tired to biuld one but I wasnt happy with my disine as i tryed to make it like the origal in sted of stomp box. That was the wong way to go about doing it. this is my bosstone it is a sho-sound not a jordan. the jordan version was made in the 60's unfortunatly the non stomp box idea didnt work well for guitarits espicaly thoughs that played strats. Jordan electonics went out of bisness make a few other peadls be for they went under. The peadal however works greas for steel guitar because youpule it right in the the side so it is easer to get a than a stomp box. The fact that you dont move around so you cant yank out the box. They caut on with steel players andin the 70's sho bud a steel guitar maker bought the rights to make them again. Having the nich makret unfortunaly the didnt make them long eather. if you check out this link. Some guy try to simulate violins and junk. me I just think its rockin fuzz and i love fuzz. Becase fuzz=rock n roll. It is really great shape it is around 30 years old super clean!
The green machine is a great od if you want that tube screamer type sound. If you ae looking for a ts sound you should heck this one out. I got mine of ebay directly from aramat for about 135 he got it to me super quick 3 days i think maby 2 http://www.aramateffects.com/pedals/ |

Took my wife to yosemite. On Saturday te plan was to take her to the park for a nie day hike then come home. It was a suprise for our aniversrey. We got on the road about 7:30am and got there about 12:30 there was uite a slow movine line once we got lose to the park. She was qite suprised eaven more jazzed than I thought she would be. We did a 4.5 mile hike to a watterfall that I woount eaven try to spell as I wasnt eaven sure how to pernounce it. We had a blast it was butifull and eaven saw some dude hiking naked on the trail. well he had on hikeing boots and a back pack. That was an intresting expierence. Joannelle diced she was having such a good time that we should stay the night I agreed we found a nice camp spot and bought food fire wood and suplies. about 60 bucks in all (oww) We had a great time slept in her Jimmy and in the mourning we toured a bit more of the park and found a trial to take next time. |

| ok so i have not done this in a long time ... The pedal is in the hole. It wasnt comeing together witht he quaility I would have like to home rigged. Plus Voodoo labs Superfuzz With is no the real super fuzz but a slight moded joardan bosstone circut so i just bought the pedal. Voodoo labs isnt the highs quality but it sounds great I am very plased with it. In fact I just love a any fuzz tone so i am sure i will be geting more in the futre:) |

Yester day I got all the parts to make my Jordan boss tone fuzz box. Thank to my fathenlaw We wil be able to do this sence I havent read a shematic in about 14 years and my ability then wass well what you would expect from a 14 year old with marginal intelegence. I hope to work on it this weekend It not a complicate circut so hoplefully I will beable to get it done in one fail swoop. I also need to replace the pot in my vox wha... I found one that had good reviews for 25$ I am hopeing that is the problem and its not in the actual board. On the other hand If it is in the board and i nead a new one i am going to get a fulltone clyde. I will have to sell my line six mm 4 though. I won this in an auction yesterday |
